Domestic trade

Domestic trade, is the exchange of domestic goods within the boundaries of a country. This may be sub-divided into two categories, wholesale and retail. Wholesale trade is concerned with buying goods from manufacturers or dealers or producers in large quantities and selling them in smaller quantities to others who may be retailers or even consumers. Retail trade is concerned with the sale of goods in small quantities to consumers. The types are:

It is the sale of goods to anyone other than a standard consumer. Wholesale is defined as the resale  of new and used goods to retailers, to industrial, commercial, institutional or professional users, or to other wholesalers, or involves acting as an agent or broker in buying merchandise for, or selling merchandise to, such persons or companies. While wholesalers of most products usually operate from independent premises, wholesale marketing for foodstuffs can take place at specific wholesale markets where all traders are congregated. In the past years wholesalers were closer to the markets they supplied than the source from which they got the products. However, with the advent of the internet there are an increasing number of wholesalers located nearer to the manufacturer's.

Retailers satisfy demand identified through a supply chain. Modern retailers typically make a variety of decisions including the type of store, the market, product assortment, customer service, supporting services and the store's. Retailers devise the retail mix which includes product, price, place, promotion, personal and presentation. In the digital age, an increasing number of retailers are seeking to reach broader markets by selling through multiple channels, including both bricks and mortar and online retailing. Digital technologies are also changing the way that consumers pay for goods and services. Retailing support services may also include the provision of credit, delivery services, advisory services, stylist services and a range of other supporting services. This have been an ancient type of shop.

Environmental problems causes by the secondary sector

Resultado de imagen de environmental problems caused by secondary sector

The pollution in the secondary sector are very harmfull for the Earth. The main causes of this are, the fumes produced by the industries, the waste that are thrown to water and they kill the sea nature. In this blog we are going to see the most important damages produced by this sector.

- Acid rain is any form of precipitation that is unusually acidic. It can have harmful effects on plants, aquatic animals and infrastructure. Acid rain is caused by emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide, which react with the water molecules in the atmosphere to produce acids. Nitrogen oxides can also be produced naturally by lightning strikes, and sulfur dioxide is produced by volcanic eruptions. Acid rain has been shown to have adverse impacts on forests, freshwaters and soils, killing insect and aquatic life-forms, corrosion of steel structures such as bridges, and stone buildings and statues as well as having impacts on human health.

- Depletion of Ozone Lawyer. Ozone layer is a deep layer in earth’s atmosphere that contain ozone which is a molecule containing three oxygen atoms. These ozone molecules form a gaseous layer in the Earth’s upper atmosphere called stratosphere. The concentration of ozone in the ozone layer is usually under 10 parts per million while the average concentration of ozone in the atmosphere is about 0.3 parts per million. The thickness of the ozone layer differs as per season and geography. The highest concentrations of ozone occur at altitudes from 26 to 28 km. The cause of ozone layer depletion is human activity, specifically, human-made chemicals. These chemicals are widely known as ODS, an acronym for Ozone-Depleting Substances. Ozone-Depleting Substances have been proven to be eco-friendly, very stable and non-toxic in the atmosphere below. This is why they have gained popularity over the years. However, their stability comes at a price; they are able to float and remain static high up in the stratosphere. One molecule has the capability to break down thousands of ozone molecules.

The main fishing tecniques are,

Purse Sein- Purse Seining: Purse seining is a method of fishing which is used to catch pelagic fish such as herring, mackerel, sardines and tuna. Purse seining works by drawing a vast net around a school of fish. The net is then pursed trapping the fish inside and the net can then be pulled into the vessel.
- Long-lining: Long-lining is a method of commercial fishing used to catch a range of species. Longline fishing is a commercial fishing technique. It uses a long line, called the main line, with baited hooks attached at intervals by means of branch lines called gangions.

- Trawling: is a method of fishing that involves pulling a fishing net through the water behind one or more boats. The net that is used for trawling is called a trawl. The boats that are used for trawling are called trawlers or draggers.
